Renalzin Paste

Renalzin is a liquid paste containing lanthanum carbonate, kaolin and Vitamin E.

It binds directly to dietary phosphate within the gastrointesinal tract, preventing it's absorption into the bloodstream, thereby easing the burden on the kidneys in cases of Chronic Kidney Disease.

Renalzin has neutral taste and is designed to be added to commercial and prescription diets at a dose rate of 2mls per day.

Chronic Kidney Disease affects one-third of cats aged 15 years or older and is a leading cause of death in cats of all ages. High levels of phosphate contribute to the continuing deterioration of kidney function in affected cats
